Hobbies and more hobbies

 Italy gave me a new outlook on life. It taught me to sloooow my rollll! I CAN life without the internet and my cell  phone! wow. who knew? I worked my tail off and started a new little business, due to the nudging of my friends. I paint. Not like a fine artist, but I am a crafty chic. I do upholstery, sewing, painting murals and faux finishes.

This door took over 6 hours. Each Square was painted with three different colors of gold and white.One by one, I got it done.

 

I stenciled around the door, did some gold wash over marine blue paint around the frame and used silver in the middle. This room was a favorite of mine.

 

I wanted to make the room look bigger by having the inside painted baby blue. The window matches the door. I put a monogram above the archway for the owner.

 

This little painting is my favorite thing. It took forever painting upside down, but wow did it turn out nice.

 The doors and shudders were green before. We restored them and painted them with high gloss Aubergine.
It was a blast of a trip!
